Process Scans without Proper Identifier

Added by Steffen Blaschke over 12 years ago

Dear y'all,

I've set up AMC to use separate exam sheets with a single teacher sheet in postcorrection (insidebox,noshuffle,postcorrect according to alternative usages in the documentation) and prepared 1068 separate exam sheets in a multi-page PDF. I had my university's print service print out the sheets and staple them to several pages of multiple choice questions. So far so good.

Unfortunately, somebody in print service messed up and printed 1068 first pages of my multi-page PDF. I didn't catch the err until I tried processing the scans in AMC. Automatic data capture gives me but a single exam because all my 1068 scans have the same identifier.

My question now: Is is possible to turn off the need for a identifier on each scan or otherwise process my scans?

I'd appreciate any answer. Thanks!

Steffen

PS: The search function in the forum brings up a related topic, but the question on identifiers is in French, which I wasn't able to make too much sense out of. Sorry about that.

If you have only one page per student, perhaps you can try the following:
  1. delete all data captude data
  2. re-run automatic data capture, selecting "some pages are photocopied" (available since AMC 1.1.0 I think)

add this code in the top:

\usepackage[postcorrect,noshuffle,insidebox]{automultiplechoice}

@red sea: These are the exact options I set up AMC with.

@Alexis: Thanks! Upgrading from 1.0.3 to 1.1.0 solved my problem, and who would know it would be that easy.
