Scoring with more than two decimal points.

Added by Robyn Morgan over 1 year ago

Hi,

I have an exam for which I'd like to have negative marking for some questions, -0.625 for a wrong answer. My code reflects this:

\scoringDefaultS{b=1.25,m=-0.625,v=0}

However, when it comes to correction, I find that the negative marking is only -0.62. (see attached images) I therefore end up with a score that ends with an even number instead of in a 0 or a 5. Is there a way to allow for three decimal points in the score? Am I missing something in the score settings?

Thanks!

In this window, marks are rounded to two decimal places. Can you have a look at the exported sheet to see if the exact marks can be found?

Hi Alexis,

Yes, they're to the correct decimal point (0.625) in the .csv, I should have checked there first, thank you! However, the grade still doesn't come out as the correct number, I'm assuming that the rounding preferences are the cause of this?

Thanks!

However, the grade still doesn't come out as the correct number

Can you elaborate on this point?
