AMC can be installed from Ubuntu's Software Center, but be careful to install the @auto-multiple-choice@ package, and not only the @auto-multiple-choice@*@-common@* package.
Type *auto-multiple-choice* in the search box, and you will get the right package:

If you type *AMC*, you will get the wrong one (even if it seems more relevant because of the AMC logo)!
