Using parts of AMC - generating sheets and scanning
Added by Conor McDonagh almost 6 years ago
I'd like to utilise some of AMC functionality but not for MCQ.
Would it be very difficult (I'm not very knowledgable on latex) to re-use the pdf generation (using the .sty file) so that it makes sheets with choice boxes and writes the xy file. The MCQ database is much more complicated than I need. I would also like to use the scan recognition parts.
Any thoughts on how easy/hard it would be to change the .sty file to do something more simplified than current one does? I haven't a clear idea how the box coordinate data gets extracted and logged to the xy file.
Any advice?

Have a look at \AMC@tracebox
(Position logging paragraph) in automultiplechoice.pdf
that is built together with automultiplechoice.sty
from the source.
