Arabic questionnaire - layout not processed right

We have problems to get an Arabic questionnaire working. It compiles without error, but AMC doesn't recognize the layout correct.

Any idea what went wrong? We use version 1.3.0, but I even tested it with 1.4.0~rc1 with no change in output...

There are a lot of options for Arabic in LaTeX, and some of them don't work properly with AMC…
Maybe you can start from this Arabic sample source file, using xelatex as TeX engine?
