The answer to an open question has several steps. Each step has different punctuation (0.5, 0.7, 0.3, 0.10) of the total 2.5.

The teacher could mark only the boxes when student answers those different steps.

Is this possible to do in AMC 1.2.1 ?

As far as I know: only doing points in successive order: 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and teacher choose one of them.
