AMC with LuaLaTeX

Added by Raffaele Borrelli about 9 years ago

Hi all,

I am trying to use LuaLaTeX to generate numeric choice questions. Following the example on the manual
I get 10 tests with the same numbers since the random seed generator is reset every single time.
On the other hand placing it be outside the \onecopy command one get 10 different tests with different numbers.
Maybe it was intentional but I just thought to share the information.

BTW I am switching to LuaLateX because the packages fp and pgf/tikz are not well suited when performing
evaluations of logarithms (the results in my case were wrong on the second decimal place).

Force AMC to use LuaLaTeX [RE: AMC with LuaLaTeX] - Added by Raffaele Borrelli about 9 years ago

Hi all again,

I am currently using AMC on OS X and there seems to be a bug in the version 1.2.1 svn(1403), installed via MacPorts.
The command %%AMC:latex_engine does not work. The bug seems to be fixed in version 1.2.1 svn(1405).
Unfortunately I can't see any other way to tell AMC to use lualatex, since it does not appear in the list of available engines.

Is it possible to update the OS X version?

Thanks,
Raffaele

Never mind, though the bug exists, I just realised I can type in my preferred latex engine
using the GUI.
