I use it with AMC on debian with no problem.

Ubuntu has an old TeXlive version, with no environ package I think: upgrading will allow AMC users to use the examcopy environment.
Please also note that the bidi package version is different from TeXlive 2009 (currently on Ubuntu) and TeXlive 2012, so that bidi users (bidi is used to typeset RTL languages such as arabic) will have to change the order packages are loaded in the preambule.

i tested texlive 2012 with ubuntu 12.04 and AMC 1.1.1.
i got error :
\leqno no longer primitives

Good. I think this is related to the new bidi version, which requires the user to make some little adjustments in the source file...

any "ubuntu user" want to install texlive 2012 :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:texlive-backports/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install texlive
