import the question from xml
Added by red sea over 12 years ago
tcexam is a good program for save the question (question banks).
http://sourceforge.net/projects/tcexam/files/
tcexam export the question in pdf or xml.
so can i import the questions from xml file to AMC file? (Easier than writing 30 questions manually)
example:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> <tcexamquestions version="11.2.026"> <header lang="ar" date="2012-04-20 09:26:44"> </header> <body> <module> <name>ph</name> <enabled>true</enabled> <subject> <name>ph1</name> <description>ph1 comm</description> <enabled>true</enabled> <question> <enabled>true</enabled> <type>single</type> <difficulty>1</difficulty> <position></position> <timer>0</timer> <fullscreen>false</fullscreen> <inline_answers>false</inline_answers> <auto_next>false</auto_next> <description>AMC for</description> <explanation></explanation> <answer> <enabled>true</enabled> <isright>true</isright> <position></position> <keyboard_key></keyboard_key> <description>auto multiple choice omr</description> <explanation></explanation> </answer> <answer> <enabled>true</enabled> <isright>false</isright> <position></position> <keyboard_key></keyboard_key> <description>internet browser</description> <explanation></explanation> </answer> <answer> <enabled>true</enabled> <isright>false</isright> <position></position> <keyboard_key></keyboard_key> <description>securtity</description> <explanation></explanation> </answer> <answer> <enabled>true</enabled> <isright>false</isright> <position></position> <keyboard_key></keyboard_key> <description>games</description> <explanation></explanation> </answer> </question> <question> <enabled>true</enabled> <type>single</type> <difficulty>1</difficulty> <position></position> <timer>0</timer> <fullscreen>false</fullscreen> <inline_answers>false</inline_answers> <auto_next>false</auto_next> <description>the admin of AMC?</description> <explanation></explanation> <answer> <enabled>true</enabled> <isright>true</isright> <position></position> <keyboard_key></keyboard_key> <description>Alexis</description> <explanation></explanation> </answer> <answer> <enabled>true</enabled> <isright>false</isright> <position></position> <keyboard_key></keyboard_key> <description>mikel</description> <explanation></explanation> </answer> <answer> <enabled>true</enabled> <isright>false</isright> <position></position> <keyboard_key></keyboard_key> <description>lona</description> <explanation></explanation> </answer> <answer> <enabled>true</enabled> <isright>false</isright> <position></position> <keyboard_key></keyboard_key> <description>retchaerd</description> <explanation></explanation> </answer> </question> </subject> </module> </body> </tcexamquestions>

You could write an xslt to do the transformation.
See [[http://www.elml.org/website/en/html/output_latex.html]]
If you want to use a 'database' you need to do this only once for each question.
