Additional completely blank pages, without header: is it possible?

Added by Miguel J Ruiz Benítez about 2 years ago

I would like to use AMC to collect, grade and comment on student essays. I have thought I could add an AMC frontpage with proper ACM questions identify student, mark different aspects of the work (rubric or numerical capture) and write comments on it (ACM Open Q) . I would then scan everything through, process it with AMC and send it to the student by email.

The problem is that the current design of AMC does not allow you to add additional completely blank pages, without a header, in the recognition phase; they are ignored. I could generate a file with some completely blank AMC header pages, but that would force the student to use those pages and in the correct order as well. I would like to try the solution of having ACM take care of additional blank pages (on the first page the student could say how many pages his paper is composed of in total by a numerical capture and AMC could use this information to accept the correct number of pages of the paper).

I hope you have understood what I am after.

Any suggestions or ways to proceed?

Thank you.

It's not possible.
I suggest to use pdftk to concatenate each AMC pdf file and the student essay.
