Italics not displayed?

Hi, new to AMC. Installed on a Mac. All good but using AMC-TXT syntax and italics aren't displayed in my outputted .pdfs

Any ideas of a fix?

I remember there has been some problems with font usage on macosx: maybe you will find some clues in Test version, AM-TXT bold and italic options do not work.
