Is the program works on 64-bit system.
i want to change my ubuntu from 32 to 64 bit !

Yes, AMC works on 64bit systems. Ubuntu packages are also built for 64bit systems, either on the official ubuntu repository and AMC PPA repositories: see Ubuntu, AMC-stable, AMC-standard, AMC-test.
