Problems with AMC after Mac OS X (10.7.5) installation using MacPorts
Added by Mar Marcos about 10 years ago
Hello,
I have recently reinstalled AMC in my Mac OS X (10.7.5), using MacPorts, and apparently everything went fine. However I have just noticed that I cannot print as I used to do, I get the following error:
Printing with method 'CUPS' needs some perl modules that are not installed: Net::CUPS, Net::CUPS::PPD. Please install these modules or switch to another printing method.
Any hint on how to solve the above??
Regards,
Mar Marcos

Ok, problem solved by manually installing the port p5-net-cups.
Thanks!

I'm glad to see this port works on your system: many users reported problems with it (cups library missing).

CUPS architecture changed with OS X >= 10.8 and neither p5-net-cups nor CPAN Net::CUPS module evolved for the new architecture.
