Ubuntu 12.04 will come after a week.
Is the program compatible with it?

You can already find the 1.0.3 AMC version in Ubuntu 12.04 (see http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?searchon=names&keywords=auto-multiple-choice). I will also add this distro in the AMC PPAs for newer versions of AMC when it will be available (usually a few days after release).
